ACOS™ Technology
Anthill Technologies’ ACOS™ chemistry discovery engine is a proprietary integrated system of “networked” components, devices, instrumentation, software and processes for the high-speed design, synthesis, purification and characterization of new and novel chemical compositions and for the development of new and improved chemical pathways and processes. This ACOS™ system is designed to break-down the silos inherent in current chemistry research and development processes by bringing integrated tools and processes to the chemist and by combining and hybridizing the individual disciplines involved. Anthill believes that this will transform chemical discovery, development and manufacturing and result in major increases in productivity similar to what occurred with the advent of the personal computer, networking and desktop computing.
The ACOS™ system is operated by Anthill’s experienced personnel with significant skill and knowledge in high-throughput research and separation science. The ACOS™ system incorporates elements of each of the traditional stages of chemical development (discovery research, scale-up and production) and integrates multiple chemical disciplines in a manner that accelerates chemical discovery and development across multiple applications and markets. By seamlessly combining advances in high throughput research, separations science and information technology with Anthill’s expertise in high-speed chemistry and unique purification technologies, the ACOS™ system allows for a new chemical development paradigm that provides for accelerated, parallel progress in chemical research and development.
Anthill's goal is to utilize the ACOS™ technology to:
- Remove impediments and restraining forces to rapid cost-effective chemical discovery operations;
- Re-wire, streamline and compress traditional chemical supply, development, scale-up and manufacturing pathways; and
- Fit application specific "chemical plants" into every chemist's lab hood.
